  1. Mikheil Potskhishvili

I recently had the chance to experience the Vashlovani Safari tour. Although this was not my first visit to the stunning landscapes of Vashlovani, the experience was still exceptional. Seeing the area under the guidance of Temo made a huge difference — if there is anyone who knows every tiny corner of Vashlovani in such detail, it is definitely him.

Combined with his deep knowledge of local culture and wildlife, not to mention his excellent photography skills, this made the tour truly special. We were able to see dozens of Goitered Gazelles. The whole adventure was very well organized and truly memorable, with a suitable vehicle and delicious food.

In addition to the tour, our group of 12 stayed at Savanna Guesthouse. If you want to taste authentic Georgian homemade food and experience the warm hospitality Georgians are proud of, you should definitely stay there.

    Highly recommended! 🌄📸

My recent trip to Vashlovani with Temo was easily one of the best. This was my second time visiting, but seeing it through Temo’s eyes made it unforgettable. He isn’t just a professional; he’s someone deeply in love with these landscapes, knowing every hidden spot, caring and capturing them beautifully through his lens. 📸🏜️

🔭We experienced it all: 🐾 finding wolf tracks in Pantishara, enjoying a picnic 🧺 with local wine 🍷, and watching herds of gazelles 🦌 and flocks of Little Bustards taking flight𓅯. We even managed to spot a wolf in the distance 🐺. It felt like being inside a National Geographic documentary. To top it all off, Temo surprised us with a breathtaking sunset to end the perfect day. 🌄💛

Thank you, Temo, for such a memorable trip! 🤍💫✨

  3. Thilo

We had a fantastic one-day trip to Vashlovani with Temo this February. We managed to spot gazelles, watched dozens of vultures waiting to feast, chased after rare birds, and admired the park’s incredible scenery.

Throughout the entire tour, Temo shared interesting facts and personal stories that kept the drives engaging and fun. He knows Vashlovani like the back of his hand and is able to spot and explain interesting details around every corner. The passion and dedication he has for the park and wildlife in Georgia is truly inspiring.

The tour is well planned and includes a variety of activities (e.g. small hikes, birdwatching, viewpoints) to keep the day engaging. At the same time, Temo also makes sure to tailor the experience for every group so they get the most out of their visit – whether this means taking small detours to observe something unexpected or adjusting lunchtime plans.

If you opt to stay at Temo’s guesthouse, you’ll also be treated to a true Georgian feast for dinner!

Thanks for an unforgettable experience! 🏞️

We had an absolutely fabulous day in Vashlovani Park thanks to Temo!
He’s a very friendly and passionate guide who knows the park’s wildlife, flora, and history inside and out.
Thanks to him, we saw all kinds of birds, including vultures. We also saw gazelles and lynx tracks… and he took us to breathtaking viewpoints overlooking the park’s landscapes. Everything was very well organized.
I highly recommend staying at Savanna House, a guesthouse run by his family—it’s very welcoming, and the food is delicious! Thanks to all of this, Temo’s safari was our favorite experience in Georgia. Thank you, Temo 😊

Breathtaking landscape that is quite unique for Georgia. Its amazing wildlife provides a heaven for the photo enthusiasts. We were with kids and the knowledgeable and passionate Temur Popiashvili led the tour. A An avid photographer himself and with strong background in biodiversity, he knows every corner of the protected areas and knows the best stops, times, and spots for photographers. We are not professional photographers but my children were inspired and fascinated which means a lot to us. I strongly recommend this tour to everyone who appreciates wildlife and nature.

We had the most remarkable experience exploring Vashlovani with Vano and Temo!

Vano was our guide and driver and took us inside the national park reserve making sure we got to see everything from beautiful landscapes to wild animal footprints, birds and even geological curiosities.

You could feel Vano’s passion about wildlife and nature in every stops and comments along the way. He brought goggles so we could check animals (gazelles, vultures and other birds, etc.). He was always keen to answer every question we had, even about Georgia as a whole.

We highly recommend booking this tour, the guides really brought the best part of exploring Vashlovani national park!

Today we spent an adventurous and stunning day in Vashlovani NP. The rainy morning was not very promising and we almost had to cancel the tour. However, under Temo’s careful guidance we adapted to route and took step by step. After a delicious lunch the sky cleared up. We observed birds, saw gazelles and enjoyed breathtaking views over the hills and valleys of Vashlovani. Temo willingly shared his knowledge about the animals, geography and culture. This was one of the best tours we ever did. PS: We also recommend the stay at Savanna Guesthouse to experience the warm hospitality and great food provided by Temo and his family.
